Advantage Credit Union membership is available to anyone who lives or works in

In 1937, 14 individuals signed the articles of incorporation to form a credit union then called Local 1116 UERMWA Credit Union.  The credit union started from small beginnings with member-owners pooling their savings together so that other members could borrow money.  70 years later, Advantage Credit Union is open to employees and residents of 19 Iowa counties. While the balance sheet is now much more complicated and diverse, the credit union is still structured on the same foundation that it was in 1937 with our members being the only owners and pooling their resources to meet savings and lending needs as well as a wide array of other modern products and services.

Small Business Clients

Over the past 40 years our credit union has also served the small business community. We offer a wide array of services including small business checking accounts and we now also offer small business funding services. Learn more about our funding services, here.
